Prayer Requests

I believe in prayer. Many folks often have prayer requests. If you or someone you know would like to be prayed for (and we ALL need to be prayed for) drop a comment here. I, along with the readers of this post, will pray for you. This is and will be my prayer chain for all. Please make use of it.

Well girl, you know how much I believe in prayer. This is such a good thing that you’re promoting!

I can always use extra prayers for my little guy and my own health issue’s. Boy, whoever said you can’t buy good health is so right on that one!

I’ll be praying for all the above request. =)

Love and prayers being sent to all,

    Suzy

My father is an alcoholic. He doesn’t want help. I have no doubt that his time on this earth is coming to a rapid end. My mother is an alcoholic/addict, who doesn’t admit what she is. They are killing themselves, ruining the life of my youngest brother who still lives at home, and hurting everyone around them, moreso, themselves. My father’s mother died of alcoholism, and I wonder if he is simply waiting to go as well. I don’t know if I should pray for their healing, a quiet passing, or simply for myself, my brothers, and other family to have the strength to forgive and move on with life. Prayer is needed. Blanket prayers would be good. I ask that God simply give us strength to do what needs to be done, to be there, and to heal.

Husband is considering gastric bypass surgery. Please pray that this is where God is leading him and that I find peace with the decision. There have been mortalities from this surgery, both during and several years after and I am probably more afraid than he is.

    God bless.

2 things I need prayers for- One more immediate than the other…..

My wife’s co-worker is in the hospital- His house caught fire last night and while he made sure his wife and kids were safely out, he suffered from smoke inhalation. He is apparently having breathing treatments every two hours and will be in the hospital for the next few days. His name is Mike BTW….

The other is for my wife. She has a rather large cyst in her abdomen (watermelon size) that they think is attached to her kidney. We are visiting the third surgeon we’ve been to on the 23rd- I need prayers that this will be the right doctor to take care of this and that we get thru it without complications. I need prayers for strength for both of us.

    Thanks

This is acutally a blog I posted at the end of last year. I like your site

How many of you truly believe that prayer changes things?… Well, I do. And for all of you out there who share this belief(and those who may not) I request your prayers. I am going through a rather private trying/challenging time in my life where basically only me, God, and one other person are fully or at least 85% aware of things that are going on. I say 85% because no one but God can be 100% aware.

Have you ever believed in something so much it frightens you at times… well I do. I believe that all LWD2M have to at some point. Whether it is believing in yourself, someone else, or an idea… or something completely different. If it is meant to be, if it is right… you may never know… but through prayer I believe an answer or at least a clearer picture can be seen. Let me know how you feel….

Thought of the day … Take Time to Pray… for prayer truly changes things… and lets you get your thoughts and the desires of your heart “out”

Reply from TNChick: I do believe prayer changes things. If only people would pray more often instead of waitin’ till they are in desperate need, things may be better…. Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts.

    Tomika Wise Says:

Please pray for the reconciliation of the marriage between Marvin & Tomika Wise. I can tell that God is working in his life compelling him to turn and flee from sin, but at times it seems that the devil is also working in a negative manner to ensure the loss of his soul. God is more powerful than satan and will triumph as goodness will always prevail over evil. I pray that our marriage is reconciled before the Christmas holiday as planned. We have two small sons ages 6 months and three years old and I want to give them a complete and stable home environment with both parents in the home focused on and serving Christ Jesus. Pray also, that Tomika remains faithful & true to God and his Word attending church & reading Christs’ Word regularly. Thank you.

Please pray for my uncle Shiraz Kassam. He had a massive heart attack yesterday while driving, he is now in a coma with bleeding in the brain. Right now he is stable but the doctor says he has very little hope. This is so sad for all of us, he still has to take care of his family, everyone really needs him. Please, please say a prayer for him. Thank you for all of your help.

I think everyone needs prayer, whether they have bad times and we also pray for our good times and happiness we have as well. I am in need at this time for a storm to pass and when the storm is gone I will need prayer for the future to be happy and wonderful. I am thankful for my family
