First, you are seeing this default look due to the upgrade for WP. Ugh. My sidebar went wonky… so ’till I fix it — here ya go.

Not creative, at all… went to my son’s room for this. He wanted a locked box to keep special things in so that his sister couldn’t get them. :) Not very good – I even took it in the dark while he was asleep!

Fathers Day Frosty

June 9th, 2009

Father’s Day is just around the corner. Simply spending fun time with Dad proves a much better gift than a fancy gadget or tacky tie, ya know. This year why don’t you create a day together doing something that Dad likes. How about headin’ to your local Wendy’s for an after-dinner Frosty? It will support a worthy charitable cause!

For the past three years, Wendy’s has made it a Father’s Day Frosty Weekend tradition to donate 50 cents from the sale of each Frosty to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The money raised goes to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, which funds full-time adoption recruiters at local agencies across the U.S., who in turn pair up parents with foster care children needing homes. So, you and your family can enjoy a tasty (and affordable!) Frosty together, knowing this campaign assists children across the country in finding a family of their own.

BTW, your kids can even create a Father’s Day eCard on FrostyCard.com and for every card they send, Wendy’s will donate an additional 25 cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation. Kids can attach coupons for “taking out the trash” or “washing the car” onto the cards for Dad, too!

Just spreadin’ the news… hopefully many will listen :)

Thanks MC for the tip!

Local businesses advertise on the back of Baseball T-Shirts at the little league park. Featured here is my “Lil Jeter” (my daughter). We will be at the park today, for her game.

Not creative but at least I am here! This is a small collection of books gifted to us/me that sit under the TV. :) My son has had a rough recovery week this past week – thanks for the well-wishes.
