technical issues? I’ve had my fair share. The theme notification went out this AM and for some reason it appears some rec’d it and it was black?! I have no clue why, as the previous mailings were OK and this one should have been OK, too. I’m sure not if it was a glitch in the mailing list provider or what? I got one this AM and mine was white (aka normal). I looked at the “sent” mailing via their site and it showed normal, too. I’m at a loss. Anyway, the theme is wrinkled for Saturday…. I’ll have to email the company re: the issue… Just so you all know, I know. =) They claim to reply within two hours, so I’m waiting to hear back from them.

Well, I’ve searched re: Safari and the nesting comments and am answer-less. All other browsers seem to render correctly. I’ve used an online tool to double check that and had several folks confirm, as well. It seems to be something to do with Safari. ???

I did reinstall the paged comments plug-in. Remember, I had paged comments before the big “I can’t comment” fiasco a few Saturdays back (on PH #119). I disabled it in efforts to fix the comment problem, at that time.

Safari users, I do wonder if nesting still happens now that I reinstalled paged comments? Perhaps a Safari user will let me know!

Edit #1: Apparently the paged comments plug in does fix it. Thanks for letting me know!

Edit #2: While paged comments fix the nesting issue… apparently it IS causing a 404 page when you comment – though, your comment DID go through. I emailed the plug-in maker about this and am waiting to hear back. If I can’t fix it by Saturdays PhotoHunt, I’ll have to remove it to ensure comments work for the hunt. Isn’t technology great!!

Last Edit: Keyvan got back to me, quickly, about the 404 page error and it’s been fixed. So, we should have NO issues…. with 404’s or with nesting. Yay!! If you DO have an issue PLEASE comment here so I can make sure it’s taken care of ASAP!

Is anyone having problems with the comments? One person using Apple’s Safari browser sent me some screen shots because of “issues” when viewing. Wow. There is/was an issue… (comments appear to be nesting inside other comments) Eek. I had no idea as no one has told me. I was wondering if anyone else saw this issue? If you have/see a problem – let me know what browser you’re using. You may email me at blog(at)tnchick(.)com. I’ve made no changes, so once again I have a mystery to solve.
