Wow, another year passes! On January 4th - it’ll be the one year anniversary since I lost my beloved Punky. On January 5th, my sweetheart celebrates his birthday. A few other anniversaries as well - such as my daughter knocked her tooth out (wow, can’t believe it’s been a year!) and Nixie came to live with us a year ago, too. Not much else happen a year ago - but the above was plenty. It was a hard month after loosin’ my sweet Punkin - I tell you… I miss her SO much.

Anyway - Happy New Year. I hope that 2008 is prosperous for you and joyful. I am sure you will find many blessings in store. If you’re gettin’ plastered - be safe and don’t drink and drive.

Here are some New Year questions for ya…

Do you make/have New Year resolutions? Me… No, I don’t make them.
Do you shoot fireworks on New Years? Yes, sometimes
Do you party (or attend one)? Haven’t in a long while… no interested in them any more.
Do you stay up ’til Midnight? Yes, always have
Do you kiss someone at midnight? I certainly do.
Do you watch the ball drop on TV? Yes, sometimes

My Photo: Wanting to steer clear of traditional Christmas messy photo that I’m sure we’ll see this week - I went with something different. My son turned the big 10 this past Wednesday (the 26th). He blew out his birthday candles and then told me he didn’t want any of the chocolate cake… so I smashed some cake in his face. LOL I don’t eat chocolate so if I knew he didn’t want it I wouldn’t have had chocolate! Ugh So, this is his messy face….

Update on the post below, my nephew was able to come home from the hospital today. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.

My nephew, Brycen, was hospitalized today - I believe due to RSV. He’s only six months old. Please, pray for him - his health. I’m really hoping he’ll be able to come home for Christmas. Thank you in advance.
