Placeholder/comment spot for the upcoming 68th PhotoHunt: Creative.
My post/photo/new list will replace this, later, as usual. Till then, Happy Friday!

Here is my actual post, 80+ comments later…

Site of the Day: JC at castleruins. Check it out. Go comment, please!

Please, welcome the new folks this week:

Creative: I find this creative. It is painted on the side of Joe’s Crab Shak, downtown. It’s off 2nd Ave in Nashville. I love this because it’s creative and well done… but also because my husband is Joe ; therefore, this amuses me. =) *smirk*

Let me address two emails about the themes…

Email #1 Are any guides on the theme creative? any ideas or specifics? No guidelines on any theme. It means what you think it means. That is the fun of photo hunting for themes. You don’t have to follow dictionary definitions on any theme. Ideas? Sure! Think: imaginative, productive, artistic, clever, cool, gifted. You may share photos of art work, photos of something you created - anything that says creative to YOU when you see it. =)

Email #2 … ‘funky’ meant something hip, something positive but not of the norm. I decided to look in my online Thesarus and it does not say that at all in any of the definitions or synonyms. I was totally shocked. Tell us just what funky means on your posting site. Same as above. No guidelines on any theme other than make sure it’s YOUR photo. It means what you think it means - fellow PhotoHunters look forward to see what the word funky means to you. Something hip, not of the norm, etc… it’s all good.

‘Lil of this and that…

Well, it’s no secret I love to scrap… I’ve been called the Energizer Scrapper, actually. This past week I’ve had a few layouts receive recognition. This layout of my son was picked for layout of the day on the 12th. I liked it because my husband did the journaling for it. Then on the 13th, this layout of my daughter was the layout of the day. I was doin’ good - two days in a row! A few days later, this layout won a layout pick of the month for July and won me a gift certificate for free scrap goodies! Yay! I hope that makes Linda happy since I try my best to showcase her work wonderfully and all three of those are using her designs.

I have one more toot! Last night, I was working with a new release called Summer Cottage (if you’re a scrapper, you may love to know the kit is free with a $5 ’till the 25th) for Sherri Tierney. I just fell in love with my layouts using it. When I woke up this AM and saw someone else fell in love with ‘em, too… as one of the two made layout of the day at GottaPixel. Woot! That made me smile.

Anyway… enough of that. I just felt like sharin’ and didn’t really have anything worthy to say otherwise…

I woke up feelin’ like crap this AM… and have a major headache. Ugh. I was going to go to the doctor today just for a follow-up… but well, I didn’t go. No big deal really… there isn’t anything he can do for me…they just wanted me to follow-up. So… maybe I’ll go follow-up later if I have no changes. One week has past and I’m no different… so we’ll see how I am end of this week.

Lastly, we may be gettin’ some cows on the farm. Isn’t that a hoot? My Dad went (or is going) to check on some today… I love cows. We haven’t had cows on the farm since my parents stopped dairy farming like 20 years ago. My kids are really lookin’ forward to getting some.

We’ve had a friend staying with us durin’ the week for a few weeks… so that means the house needs to be picked up (cleaned, not lifted) because a friend will be here later. Plus, I gotta find some lunch or something. I just thought I’d actually post… I can’t believe how much I’ve slacked in bloggin’ this year. Wow. I suppose that’s enough hoopla for today. Rambled and all.

Toodles.

Cosmo makes a tiny bubble while he takes a nibble on this salt block. (Yes, he’s nose is SO dirty, too). See the bubble? I took this photo this past Saturday, before the Bells set in on me.

for the comments below. While this isn’t life threating - it’s not easy to deal and cope with. I am just taking it one day at a time. It truly saddens me but I’m tryin’ to see the bright side. I believe all happens for a reason and tho I don’t understand why, I do my best to not question it. I just pray all will turn out OK and I’ll be back to myself, soon. The most difficult to deal with is my eye. It will not blink itself and it stings/hurts/throbs/etc. It’s annoying as heck. I know some may not see this as an issue (Bells Palsy) but I do… and I appreciate all those who commented saying they knew folks who overcame. The odds are good for me… so I smile because of that, even if it is a “half smile” hehe… Yes, I am able to laugh at myself… but it doesn’t stop me from crying because I’m like this. Anyway… from me to you all… big hugs.

Hug

I’m off to cuddle with my hunny, who loves me for better or worse, praise Him.

P.S. Keep in mind, I haven’t update the PhotoHunt this week (returned emails, added folks, etc) but will do my best to, as always. I usually try to get it all done by Friday evening, each week. I think I have a lot to add. So, understand… thanks!
