Oh… my rose bushes are blooming (see photo over on the sidebar under recent uploads). Also, are you suppose to trim/prune Japanese trees? We have a couple that have grown a lot, lately.

This is an old photo of me and my horse, Sally. I miss horseback ridin’ with her. She loved it when I would give her sugar cubes and watermelon! She died of old age and my Dad buried her on our farm. (Click to enlarge)

Our bushes were getting huge and growing very fast. I decided I better get them trimmed back before they grew too big for me to trim. Here is one bush – before and after (actually the after is during). I trimmed a lot – I’m my hands are a bit sore this morning from the trigger, I suppose. Thank goodness it wasn’t done manually.

While I was trimming. The husband took a few snapshots of me.
