When you’re in the mood to do something… something always has to ruin it, eh! It’s just when I am in the mood – I’m IN the mood. No, not that – it’s about work and lack of fuel!

Today – the weather was beautiful! I felt like doing some yard work. I truly love doing work out in the yard – so no biggie. There were tons of limbs, branches, leaves, etc all over the yard due to H. Katrina so I cleaned most all that up. I went to mow – the mower had half a tank of gas left over from the last mow…. so, off to mow I go. Then, I wanted to trim around the swingswet, trampoline, house, etc… I go get the push mower – it’s empty! I go get the gas jug, it’s empty! So then… I decide I’ll just use the weedeater… ugh, it’s empty! I didn’t think I was going to get to finish my work… and that stinks.

Wow, lookie over there in the corner of the shed, it’s a different gas jug… one for the weedeater. To my surprise, it was not empty… so, off to weedeat I go!

After yard work I went to ride the gokart. It had some gas in it… so I rode my children around the yard a few times. My son thought I was going to crash into the trampoline -little did he know I’m a great driver… of course I wouldn’t hit such a big object! I did almost run over Zoey- she ran infront of us – so I had to stop – she wouldn’t move *LOL*. I almost ran it out of fuel so we put it away.

It’s going to stink to have to fill up all vechicles, the mowers, the gokart and the gas jugs! But, ones gotta live!

Goodmorning! Hopefully the power won’t go off, again, as I type this. I woke up (too) early this AM to see the husband off to work. He has to go out and work in this Katrina crap! Keep him in thought – it’s messy out there! No school today as they closed it due to the hurricane… Thankfully we just missed the tornado section of the storm, Whew… that makes me feel better, I *hate* tornados. I do think they are amazing just don’t want them tearing my home and family apart. Hopefully it won’t get too horrible here… so far just minor damge, high winds and tons of rain. All those in the South East US – stay safe!

Since I was up and online I thought I’d share a funny with ya’ll. Everyone needs to smile – even with the current conditions. SO – hopefully, the least the post will do is bring someone a smile. On we go….

A mother was working in the kitchen listening to her 5-year-old son playing with his new electric train in the living room. She heard the train stop and her son saying, “All of you sons of bitches who want off, get the hell off now… cause this is the last stop! And all of you sons of bitches who are getting on, get your asses on the train…cause we’re
going down the tracks.”

Two hours later, the son came out of the bedroom and resumed playing with his train. Soon the train stopped and the mother heard her son say… “All passengers, please remember your things, thank you and hope your trip was a pleasant one. We hope you will ride with us again soon.” She heard her little darling continue… “For those of you just boarding, remember, there is no smoking in the train. We hope you will have a pleasant and relaxing journey with us today.” As the mother began to smile, the child added, “For those of you who are pissed off about the TWO HOUR delay, please see the bitch in the kitchen….”

they found her, the 2 year old that I posted about. She was found away from her home in some woods near someone else’s house (a relative). She was wet and cold but OK. Praise God she was OK – bad bad parents for not watchin’ their two year old well enough!
