Happy St. Patty’s & Pet Recall
We wish you & yours a Happy St. Patrick’s Day – hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend. (My daughter & I sportin’ our green gear — hair & hat)
Also, pet owners – in case you haven’t heard and you buy: -Sophisticat -Sophisticat Supreme -Authority -Award -Great Choice -Iams -Eukanuba -Nutro -Science Diet -Mighty Dog Pouches -Mixables. Read the Press Release here (it’s PDF) or HERE. At least 10 animal deaths prompted a recall of 60 million containers of wet pet food sold since December. I hope you don’t have these foods. Thankfully, I don’t.
P.S. Those who *read* the post below and “got me”, thanks!!

Happy St. patty’s day! Luckily, we only have the dry food, not the wet food.
That’s really sad to hear about the recall though. I read about it on another blog, and scared me for a moment, but I was glad to find out that I don’t have any of the food.

I just checked to read more info about the pet foods, and discovered that the Kroger Brand of Pet Pride that we feed our dog was listed. Supposedly the pouches we have were not recalled, but I’m not taking any chances. We switched several months ago from Iams to that brand because she liked it better the one time the store was out of her Iams pouches. However, if they are being that shoddy in their manufacturing process? It’s not worth risking her life. Thank you so much for posting this.

Looks like you had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s day. Your little girl makes me always smile…
Thanks for the warning about the dog-food. Currently we are using ‘Cesar’ canine cuisine for our little pooches…
BTW, I have done my first digital scrapbook layout, not great, but hey, I am just starting

Janet.
FWIW, Hills did a precautionary recall of Science Diet Feline Savory Cuts canned cat food. Hills and Science Diet are on the recall list, at least now, at item 30.
