Howdy.
Well, not a lot going on… finishin’ up my final paper for one of my classes - it takes a lot of brain power, as I am writing a proposal that requires about 2000 words. Not up my alley but I must do it. I really, really, want to keep my 4.0 GPA and it’s worth major pointage. I’m startin’ a new class - this one will be *much* better as it’s a graphics class. Much more up my alley as that’s what I do.
Believe it or not, Comcast is still givin’ me issues. It finally came up at 10:18am this morning. Yet another tech is comin’ out today. It’s just plain crazy I tell ya! What - it’s been like 6 weeks nearly?! Insane shit - I really wish I had a choice of provider but Comast is my only option unless I want to resort to dialup - which I don’t. However, last night, dial up was actually faster than my Comcast.
I’ve been voted in for site creative team at one of the best scrap sites online, I’m so excited about that. It’s so great people love my work enough to vote me in! My job there will be to use the products that designers have for sale to make layouts. The layouts [help] sell the kits. If one can make an outstandin’ layout showcasing the product - it makes people see that they want it. So, I can feed my scrap habit and help others, too. Nice eh?
Got a letter in the mail from a far away friend. We haven’t saw him in about 8-9 years. He is coming to Nashville and wanted to let us know… I hope everything works out OK so hubby and I can catch up with him. He’s moved way off to Wisconsin. Crazy.
So, you haven’t heard much from me the past few weeks. I don’t mean to be a stranger. My weeks have been consisting of basketball, gymnastics, family time, school work, etc… My cable downtime really makes it worse as I have to do my research, etc for school when it’s up which takes away from my “free surf” time. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever felt as overwhelmed as I have the past few…. Whew.
Anyway - I gotta scram. Did you even read this? Ha. Miss visitin’ so many of you. Hope you all have a great week! Toodles.

i always read it, you’re always so busy.
that scrapbooking “job” sounds like a dream job for you. i think it’s true, most people need to see what you can actually do with it before they decide if they are going to buy it and use it.

Congratulations about the scrap book site…I think that’s way cool. I should try my hand at scrap booking..Lord knows I have the time…it’s just something I haven’t tried yet. I try to get here during the week and check out your site, I don’t mean to only show up on photo hunt day. Have a good week and hope all goes well with comcast!!!

I hope your final paper turns out well. Congrats on getting named to the scrapping team, sounds like so much fun. I scrapped offline long before you could but kits to do it, the kits made it easier. Online scrapping is a lot fun too, I’ve only dabbled in it. Have fun with your long lost friend. I read all the way to the end!

I think you will do well with your essay - I know it is a tough thing to do when it is out of your comfort zone…You probalby do very well in the graphics class.
I can not believe that they still have not fixed your cable issue…What is up with that? As I mentioned before - our cable company sold out, so now we don’t have choice anymore - it stinks…
Congrats on being in the team for the scrap site. I think you a splendid job helping others - you help me all.the.time…
I have been busy at work - working on the new team blog - having fun with hubby
- and all sorts of other stuff. I really need to get into a slepping habit though. Last couple of nights only 4 hours - not good for the body..

You do sound busy. I hope you get a good grade on your paper. Good luck with getting your comcast fixed. Once you get high speed internet, it’s hard to go back to dial up. Hope Zoey, the kids and your husband are doing well.

You’ll have to let me know if you ever try out some of the Mary Englebrech (sp?) software…or is that even in the line of you new duties. For some reason, I just love her graphics. Oh well…busy here to….just wanted you to know I’m thinking of you.

I’m having the same problems as you. Though, unlike you, it’s my own doing. I AM online but elsewhere lol (maybe that novelty will wear off soon huh)
