That’s good news!
I have my grades on my two papers I had to write. I rec’d a 23/25 on both! Whew! I’m happy with that… today I had to submit a narrative essay based on a true life story (something in my life). It had to be 750+ words. I hope I do as well on it (or better). We’ll see…
Sorry I haven’t visited all the photos from Saturday. I’ve been busy with my essay. Argh.
I did get costumes for my kids this weekend! Yay! They will both be Pirates! How likely is it they both wanted to be the same thing? Here is a sneak peek:

Let’s see if I can remember what they have been in the past….
1999 My boy was Blue
2000 My boy was a skelton
2001 My boy was Superman
2002 My boy was Sully, My girl was a strawberry
2003 My boy was a vampire, My girl was a cat
2004 My boy was GI Joe, My girl was Rainbow Brite
2005 They were both clowns
Well, lookie there, I remembered!
So, speakin’ of costumes – do you dress up on/for Halloween?
Ok, well, that’s all I have time for. I have to go edit a class members essay. Joy.

Wow, you’re good to remember all the costumes. I wanted Ethan to be a pirate this year, but he picked a red ninja. Good think about that is that the costume was on sale for $9.00.

First, congratulations for a high grade. Yes, we do dress up for the halloween. I mean the kids. There are places that gives out prizes for the best costume.

I do dress up and go out. But this year it will be my mom’s 50th b-day, so it will be up to her what we do.
I haven’t taken Kira costume shopping yet. She will likely be some kind of princess though. She is addicted to the dresses. heehe

I only dressed up for Halloween once : my senior year in HS as exchange studente in the US…and that’s a looooong time ago. My son never ever wanted to dress up, not even for school parties, I had an emergency bedsheet with holes as eyes because he refused to dress up and I thought he would change his mind the minute he’d arrive at school but he didn’t. He had that “ghost costume” all through elementary school and actually wore it maybe for a total of 6 minutes…!

Having no small kids in the house dressing up is not an issue. If we don’t have other plans depends on if we buy candy to pass out. Being in a new house this year I am not sure what we will do!
I hear the grandkids are being dressed up so we hope for pictures of that.
Never really gotten to into Halloween!

I think if I tried hard enough, I might be able to figure out what my kids were for halloween. I think we have a Dumbo and a Firefighter in store… perhaps a cow maybe. the Elder Son does not like costumes, so we have to get him to wear the sweatshirt deals… I do have a great alien costume that I use to scare the little trick or treaters.
Great job on the school work. Maybe you can go out trick or treating as a school nerd…

Congrats on the paper grades! As a fellow student I completely understand.
Writing is something I am not too comfortable with, but I had an awesome professor and she inspired me.
We don’t have kids in the house so we don’t dress them up, thank goodness. And we don’t really dress up either. The last time I dressed up was year before last and it was for extra points in class.

Cuute! I bet there’s going to be a LOT of pirates out there this year! When my kids were “small” I always made them clowns or witches or something “cute” … but when they got old enough to “request” costumes they were QUITE creative! (i always MADE their costumes) Amanda wanted to be a Q-tip once. Derek was a “backpack”… Krysti was $100 bill! (Mathew never wanted to dress up at all and thought we were mean and evil parents to MAKE him dress up and go get candy!) ROFL!!! Oh… Amanda also went as a “baked potatoe” one year!

ROFL! Well now … when I typed “my kids” … it left a link to YOUR kids! How funny!

Congrats!
And nope, because we don’t have kids we don’t really do a fat lot for Halloween. This is one of the reasons I decided to take part in the halloween swap. Will be nice to do at least something for a change :=)

Yay on the good grades!!
Woohoo!
Tad is going to be a pirate for Halloween, too, however more specifically he’s going to be Capt. Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Carribean! *he requested that!* ha!

My oldest is going to be a rock star this year and the toddler will be a clown. I have dressed up before in the past, for a party once and for something else where our whole family dressed up, but I’m not this year.
