Photo Hunt 17: Money
Theme: Money | Join the Photo Hunt | View Blogroll
The above would be souvenir coins (and stamps). The left side is from Singapore. The right side is from Malaysia (Bank Negara). Each side has one of each coin: 1cent, 5cents, 10cents, 20cents, 50cents, and a $1 coin.
FYI. I am not the one who put them all nice and neat in the package dohinky. This was a little dohinky that was bought with the money. The cover has Singapore and Malaysia on it. See? We have foreign money (somewhere) that was used but I couldn’t find it since it’s not in a holder (ha) - it’s packed away.
Welcome these folks: Susan, Breigh, Gabrielle, rusvu, Marti, ilona, Catherine, Jennifer.
Remember, the newbies may not have a photo up yet (as I’m posting early). I did remove 10ish sites from the blogroll last week. If you happen upon a site that is no longer playin’ - please let me know. If you find a fave - let me know where. =) Happy Saturday, folks!

Great story behind the picture.

I love collecting coins and stamps. That’s a cool idea and of course fits perfectly. Now I’m just wondering how you set the themes up…

Very neat. You have it so well organized!
August 5th, 2006 at 1:24 am
Yeah, because i would never be so organized, if i collected anything.
But those could very well be worth something someday! (if not for sentimental value, which of course is priceless)

What a cool storage pocket! Certainly makes it easier to keep handy.

Those are really cool. I like international money - mine is from a different country too .

Wow! nice collection. I used to have a collection of different coins from different countries, I just can’t seem to find them any longer. Seems like someone has snatched it.

This is a very nice coin collection! Did you visit Singapore & Malaysia or were they gifts from friends?
Thank you very much for visiting my blog the other day & good luck with gift ideas for your husband. *s*

Wow… I always forget to collect any memoirs while on the spot - so I end up coming home with empty hands
I posted, too.

Nice assortment of coins!
My favorite so far is the origami photo…sorry, can’t remember which blog it was on. So many sites to visit…so little time. LOL Have a great weekend.

Very interesting to put the coins/stamps together in a neat holder. I’m sure it means more this way. My “money” picture is up, but it’s a little different interpretation.

Ah, interesting money! We were practically on our way there in January 2005, if it hadn’t been for the fact that we both got pneumonia and the tsunami came…. The meaning were to stay 2 weeks in Malaysia on a Golf and Spa Resort and get pampered and then to Philippines for 1,5 month!!!! That would have been something!!!! We’ll see if we finally get there some day. Not this winter, but maybe some other year.

Hi! Oh my, that is soooo cool to see my country’s [malaysia] currency [and stamps] on display on your site!
Hang on to dear life to the yellow one ringgit coin tho - they’ve been taken out of circulation less than a year ago because some enterprising people decided to start counterfeiting them big-time! What a pity! The one ringgit notes get grotty too fast - coins are ideal!

cool collection!! I have a ton of collected coins from all over the world and I have never traveled…I used to buy them from the cash register where I used to work. I have them packed away at the moment since I’m moving or I would have taken a photo of them.
My Saturday post is up as well. Hope you have a great weekend.
