Happy Independence Day
Since the fourth is on a Tuesday, I’m sure many are celebrating this weekend. Please, be safe. We’ve just spent the day shoppin’ today. My husband works Monday but is off on Tuesday, the 4th. We’ll shoot some fireworks, watch some – and likely cook-out.
The photo above is a shot from downtown Nashville – where a huge firework display shows every fourth – over the Cumberland River. My Dad works down there for many things, including the fourth – it’s an awesome show! Photo was taken by Mr. Curley, an awesome photographer. You can see the Batman building to the left (which is BellSouth) and the Titans Stadium to the right.
Happy (belated) Canada Day, to all the Canadian folks out there!

lol I looked at the picture before reading and spotted the “batman building”. We lived there when they were building the stadium, it was neat watching it progress.

I remember the first time one of my dear friends, David took me to Nashville. He showed me that Batman building and the Titans stadium.. I was in awe of both. I remember wanting to go to a game so badly so I could see the inside of that cool looking stadium.
I still always look for that Batman building when we drive through Nashville.

Ohhh I forgot to tell you Happy Fourth… I am not sure how much I will be on here . We have a big family cookout here at our house on the 4th every year. This and Christmas Eve are the holidays that we host here. So I will be getting my house and my menu ready … be safe and have fun !!

AWESOME picture!!! We had some fireworks last night right next door to us at the church. (I put a slideshow up of them) and we might even go see some tomorrow night as well. Still working that out.
I miss being able to do our own fireworks (used to in Las Vegas growing up). AZ says no doing your own fireworks…. too many stupid people here to set this whole place up in smoke. LOL Anyways… hope you guys have a great time doing fireworks!!!
