Monday, Monday…
I had a nice (short) weekend. We worked on our flower/rock beds (reworking the landscape timbers, etc). Spent time with the kids ridin’ the bike and ATV. The usual shopping. Vacation Bible School started Sunday. Chickadee wasn’t feeling wonderfully (said she was tired and slept a lot) so only my son went. He said he had a blast and looks forward to it the remaining of the week.
Oh, speaking of my boy - Saturday, he was runnin’ across our drive (which is concrete with rock) and he wasn’t watching (he said he was watching his feet). He tripped over his sisters bike and fell FACE first on the driveway. Freaked.Us.Out. Thank God he was OK. Somehow he made out with a faint scratch across his forehead, two scratched up elbows and two scratched up knees, and one knee bruise! Nothing major. We were really worried about his head. His Dad saw him fall and said he literally bounced off the ground! Whew. I don’t want to see any more of that.
So, I have a question - when lookin’ at my kids - who do they favor most? Me or their Dad?
There is another photo with me here with the same pose as the one with him. Thankfully, no body damage on the boy in these photos. I really don’t know how he made that fall and came out so free from damage. They were all taken yesterday and quickly as we were walkin’ out the door…
I have to get to work on my studies. I have some databases to make and some math to do. Not much else on my agenda other than eating! Toodles.

Ohh my gosh!!! I am so glad that your son is ok!!! So lucky! Looks like they had a ton of fun on the bike and ATV though!! Love your yard!!! You definitely don’t see anything like that here in AZ. I am SOOO Jealous!!!
I think your son looks like your husband and your little chicadee looks like you.

I am so glad he is ok. Those bumps are pretty darn scary. To answer your question. I would say that T looks like Dad.. and A looks like You. They both have a little of each though.

I am glad to hear you had a great weekend (was hot here and not much got done).
I want to say that your daughter is totally you, especially the eyes and the smile. Your son has a little bit of you both, but I think that his nose is closer to yours.
You are a wonderful looking family :smile:. Have a great study time - off to take care of some home-business and than take care of my sick hubby…

What a beautiful family! I think that they both favor the both of you! Different features…but I see more of Daddy in them…sorry! Everyone used to always tell me that my kids looked just like their Daddy, but since he has been gone for 3 years, they say me now! Ha!
Glad your son is alright, mine fell Sunday and scraped his knee up pretty bad…boys will be boys!

You have nice looking kids. I can’t tell who they favor just by looking at the photos. What I do know, normally kids go for their dad as moms always says don’t do this, this is bad for you, you can’t have this and so forth unless it’s the other way in your family like others whereas dads do this instead of moms.

That description of the fall I bet, WAS scary!! Wow. Now your son, being young can actually ‘bounce’ and not get hurt badly –me? Well, I’d still be getting patched up with plaster casts, and stitches and what have you!! Ahhhhhhhhh, to be young again.
Now your question about who do your children ‘favor’? I think your son has his dad –his nose is almost identical. But your daughter? Now SHE is YOU! They’re both very sweet and cute too!!! So, to be honest…those kids of yours are going to have dates galore when the time comes!!!!!! You and hubby did a good job recreating life!!!!!

Your son looks just like you. Your little girl seems to have the same smile, but there is something different with her eyes and head maybe. It could be her age though, kids features change as they get older.

Boys…truly a different breed they are! My boy rode his bike into the side of our neighbor’s truck….not watching where he was going, but who was chasing him! He did $1000 damage to the truck! lol But thankfully, the truck can be fixed!
As far as who favor’s whom….gee thats a hard one! It’s funny, in our house, everyone says my daughter favors my hubby, and my son favors me. Go figure!
