Contest has ended.
Take pictures of the items listed below. Upload your photos on your blog with a post titled “July Contest Entry” and link the post in my comments, to enter. If you comment in another post, it will not count, remember to comment to this post.
Photograph the following:
- Your National Flag – (where ever you are or are from)
- Fire Engine(s) – Must be a real engine, not a toy
- Something red, white AND blue in ONE photo.
Since some folks don’t have firework stands/stores as they are illegal in some places – there are two options for the last photo. Pick ONE of the following:
- Fireworks (firework store, in air, sparklers, anything fireworks)
- BBQing (food on the grill)
Rules and The Small Print:
- Photos must have been taken by the person submitting them.
- That means NO stock photos, NO clipart, etc.
- All FOUR photos must be submitted together, in the same post.
- You do NOT have to make them into a collage. But if you do, that’s OK.
- Deadline to enter your photos: July 2, 2006
- A winner will be randomly drawn. Your comment # will be your issued number.
- (that will be your comment containing your entry – not comments without entries)
- I will video the drawing and post it – so you’ll know I’m fair – harhar.
- I won’t hunt you down, you must check in on the 3rd for results to see if you win.
- I will mail you a prize. If you win, you must be willing to give a mailing address.
- No, I won’t tell you what the prize is. I’ll spend about $10. on you.
- If the winner is outside the US I may send an online gift certificiate, instead.

Looks like I’m not playing. Our first BBQ is on 16th July.. and I don’t have ANY photographs of fireworks either.
Oh and guess what, today I saw a really OLD fire-truck and I said to hubby “Now that would have been ideal for the photo competition”

WOW! You got LOTS at the last minute! This is cool! You’ll actually have to “stir ‘em up”!!! Hehehe! I can’t WAIT for the drawing to see who wins! (it’s so exciting!)

All the entries are SO great! I love how everyone took the pictures and put a different twist on them even if they are the same subjects.

~~Whew~~~~ I NEVER thought I’d get this accomplished! I’ve worked on it for hours, trying to figure out how to get my photo’s all nice and lined up or in pretty collages like some of the others! I tried it in PSP and even Adobe, and finally said the heck with it, and just entered them the way they are! =o)
