Mmm yummy… Wanna bite?
When I walked in the room and saw my daughter sittin’ there with the spoon between her toes I had to snap a photo. It appears she prepared herself a meal and was ready to eat, just not the traditional way. I pick things up with my feet all the time, I wonder if she gets that from me? ha
Happy Monday. Several of you emailed me, checking in during/after the storms. Thank you- that was super nice of y’all. All is well here - no damage or tornado touch downs in my area. Many things were blown out in the yard/field, small hail, high winds, a short power outage, and a few shingles blew off - thankfully, that’s all. I hope all is well with everyone else that was in the path of the night-long storms. There were several deaths after last night and prayers were lifted for those families.

Your daughter looks adorable. I don’t think I’m coordinated enough to do stuff like that with my feet (not that I’d eat with my feet anyway, but to have coordination like that would be nice!!) Glad things are good with you there, and like you said, we are in prayer for the families who lost loved ones!

Oh, I am sorry to read about the storms. I guess I really need to start wathcing the news. I am glad that you and your family are okay.
Cool picture of your daughter. I couldn’t do that - holding a spoon like that…
Sorry to see that you are feeling blah today…

I pick stuff up with my feet too–easier on my back than bending over to get shit off the floor.
What I don’t get is why my friends find that strange.

I don’t think I have ever seen anyone eat with thier feet.. though I have heard of it. How did she make out? mess or was it fine??

Hey Chick, you still alive up there? It got rough around here last night. I did take a few pictures. I wish I could have gotten some more, we had one hell of a light show in the ‘Hood’ last night.

One thing I won’t miss about Dallas is living in part of Tornado Alley. Give me a blizzard any day.

I love thi pic. Did she try to eat with her foot or just the normal way once this was taken? My son said the hail was pretty bad in his area. Glad you are ok.

Loved the pic, TNC! Very Cute!!
I didn’t even think about the storms down your way….ughh….guess it’s that Little Luv is so afraid of them that I try to keep the TV off during those times. (I figure we have the outside tornado drill if anything comes up.) Then, wouldn’t cha know, turn on the tube this morning after he’s gone…we had 17 tornado’s downstate Illinois!!
Glad to hear all is well in your neck of the woods!! =o)
Yes, I’ll be lifting those who lost loved ones in prayer, too.

Oh she’s talented!
My husband can pick things up off the floor with his toes and he can pinch me with them too. I hate that!

I don’t have my own kids, but I have to admit that it’s so cute to see my nieces/nephews picking up my siblings’ habits or behaviors.
April 4th, 2006 at 2:42 pm
Hehe, your daughter with that spoon. Kids are so funny at times, though I’m glad they don’t pick up all of our ‘motherly’ habits lol
Glad to see you safe after the storms
