PhotoHunt 186: Veterans/Military
Yeah, I posted early, accidentally
I’m good like that.
Happy upcoming Veterans Day to all of our Armed Forces. I picked this theme for today because Wednesday is Veterans Day. I’ve been kinda busy and didn’t get out to get the photo I wanted but I did manage to snap something. My husband and I bought a house and will be moving soon so I’ve been short on play time.
This is a collectors coin from the ship my husband was stationed onboard. For us, it’s a keepsake and memories.

Mine’s up!
I wasn’t sure that I would find the right photo for this post. (I have so many pictures that are not digitalized.) This time I just took a picture of a photo to have something to illustrate my post.

Mine’s up here http://britak.blogspot.com/2009/11/photo-hunt-veterans-or-military.html, also a bit early, as tomorrow is my grandmothers funeral. She passed away peacefully at the age of 97.
She was wife to a veteran and took care of a farm, 4 kids and several old people during the 2 wars my grandfather served here in Finland over 70 years ago. The conditions back then were so different from what they are today and I don’t know if I ever had managed all what she had to or what my grandfather had to. God bless their souls and all the veterans, passed and present.

Boy are you early. But it’s alright. Sometimes we all need to reschedule our time. And your post is appropriate for the theme.
I had no idea what the theme was going to be and just stopped by to find out. I am not ready yeat, but soon. I know what I could post, but I need some time to dig it out. I glad you chose this theme. You will understand better if I succeed in finding what I am looking for.
Best wishes
