My husband’s surgery, on Monday, went well…. it was just over a 3 hour surgery… he’s recovering very well. I hope they let him come home, soon. Maybe tomorrow? It’s been an exhausting week.

I was in for a week after my colon resection. Yeah, it’s boring but you always end up doing more than you intend to when you get home again, when you should be taking things easy. Glad to hear the surgery went well.
So glad to hear all went well! I had my surgery (colon resection also) on June 10th, I was in the hospital for 9 days. Hang in there, the reason they keep you is for your own good!
Such wonderful news about your husband’s surgery. I’m pleased he’s doing well. Now for him to get home and finish his recovery. It’s always more comfortable at home with family and friends.
Here’s hoping things slow down a bit for you now and that you can rest easier at night knowing he’s okay.

O had a colon resection six years ago. I was 100% after a month and I haven’t looked back since. Good luck to both of you.
