Fathers Day Frosty
Father’s Day is just around the corner. Simply spending fun time with Dad proves a much better gift than a fancy gadget or tacky tie, ya know. This year why don’t you create a day together doing something that Dad likes. How about headin’ to your local Wendy’s for an after-dinner Frosty? It will support a worthy charitable cause!
For the past three years, Wendy’s has made it a Father’s Day Frosty Weekend tradition to donate 50 cents from the sale of each Frosty to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The money raised goes to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, which funds full-time adoption recruiters at local agencies across the U.S., who in turn pair up parents with foster care children needing homes. So, you and your family can enjoy a tasty (and affordable!) Frosty together, knowing this campaign assists children across the country in finding a family of their own.
BTW, your kids can even create a Father’s Day eCard on FrostyCard.com and for every card they send, Wendy’s will donate an additional 25 cents to the Dave Thomas Foundation. Kids can attach coupons for “taking out the trash” or “washing the car” onto the cards for Dad, too!
Just spreadin’ the news… hopefully many will listen
Thanks MC for the tip!

I’m suddenly very, very hungry. Wendy’s is at the ragged edge of walking distance from my house. I figure it’s about 3 miles…which should be enough to work off the calories of an extra large Frosty.
Good to e-see you again!
