Straying away from the aftermath of Christmas and bad accidents… I give you the aftermath of pumpkin’ carving/cleaning. I took this in October… knew I’d find a reason for it! :) I’ll be at a basketball game today. Ya’ll be good!

  5. I almost didn’t do a Photohunt this week.

    Living through Katrina, “aftermath” is a loaded word for me. And with this past week… the anniversary of our friend’s murder and city-wide march to protest the post-Katrina surge in violence… it’s just a word that one can dwell on.

    But I decided that aftermath is an important story, even if sometimes we don’t want to remember.

    I wonder why all baby chicks look like they are girl chickens but when they grow up they are not girlies but they turned out young guy roosters. That’s my aftermath entry — my girlie chicks turned up male. Good thing i dd not name them girlie names like Sheilah or Erla. :D
