Stuff.
The PhotoHunt weekly email will begin on Thursday, if you want a weekly email notification of the theme go sign up, if you haven’t already (see sidebar to sign up).
Yesterday, we had a storm roll through… lightening ran in and fried my modem, network adapter and what-not. I was off-line most all of yesterday. Got a new modem and Ethernet cable and am on my old PC ’til this evening… then I’ll be back on my new PC. What a pain.. but at least I am able to be online!
Also, I was tagged and since I’m such a good person I’ll play - Veggie Mom is the one who passed this on to me (I haven’t been tagged in a looong time).
When this was an actual daily blog (before the PhotoHunt)… I shared a lot and not sure I can come up with new content for my answers, but I’ll try… The tag is: Tell your readers about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. I have a few.. such as I don’t like chocolate (which I shared last time I was tagged with this particular tag & you can see it here.)
My answers:
- I. When I shop and am checking out… everything has to be put on the conveyor belt thingie extremely neatly and orderly so that all my items are bagged properly.
- II. I like to hear the Jonas Brothers. My 10 year old son’s favorite band.
- III. I can’t stand a dog in the house. I said I’d never have an indoor dog… but this hound of mine… I felt sorry for her being out side, scared of storms, etc… now she’s indoor full time after being an outdoor dog for two years. While I dislike her in the house, I’m OK with it because I love her. She’s been in about two years now!
- IV. I always mow my yard (lawn) but not because I have too - it’s because I enjoy it. Many claim to dislike yard work and mowing as if it’s a chore but I look forward to it. I won’t let the hubby mow. Ha!
- V. When I’m out alone at night I always get some feeling that someone is out there waiting and will snipe me out. That’s something that came out after catching a guy break into my truck while living in the city. It’s extremely unlikely in my little rural community but I still think it. It makes me laugh but still freaks me out, sometimes.
- VI. I always share a drink with my hubby - neither of us ever have “our own” unless we’re not together (i.e. while he’s working). I don’t know why - it’s been like that since forever… so every night at the dinner table, we share a glass…
It took me a while to come up with those six things… Whew! I no longer pass tags but if you wanna be tagged, consider yourself tagged.

LOL, I am exactly the same about the shopping conveyer belt! As a matter of fact, I am extremely organized at how things need to be placed in the cart (so that they are ready to be put on the belt in the proper order). And (sorry to admit), I look at other people’s “crazy” carts all piled up with stuff and it irritates me, LOL.
I also love that you share a drink with your hubby, that is really sweet.
Have a blessed day!

Love the new look! And I signed up for the newsletter. I like the idea!
I also like to put my groceries in order, but WHAT I REALLY like IS to pack my own, so I can categorize!
And I love to share a glass with my hubby at night too!

I do the first one. I hate when they don’t pack the groceries well. I know where it goes in my kitchen and would rather pack them myself.

You really a caring wife. Me since my yard is not narrow one I don’t need to mow it, we have tree inside yard which I used to let my husband do the trimming.happy weekend chick..

We had our modem fried by lightning two summers ago. Since then we’ve become positively paranoid about unplugging it when there’s a storm on the way!!
