“What IS that?” I ask myself when I was stung by this critter… After searching via Google, I found out… It’s a saddleback caterpillar. Ouch. I was mowing one day and I ducked to miss a tree branch (as I was mowing around a tree). It was hiding on the underside of a leaf and it grazed my neck as I ducked…

Ouch! Son also says it’s “disgusting” to look at. I’m not sure I agree with him, but it sure is a curious looking creature!
Hope the swelling goes down soon. I’m amazed you actually took a shot of it when in pain!
