I want to enter my daughter in a photo contest… but not sure what type photo is best and what-not. The rule is that is cannot be professional and must be taken recently. So… I’ve picked out two favorites that I have taken of her. Which do you like best and/or do you think would be best to enter in a contest? I hope you can see them both – if not, someone let me know… Thank you!!

Which one did you use in the entry? I was looking through the comments and you had lots of votes for both. Flickr has a great photo editing program-Picnik (I love it). I do think the first could be tweaked-trimmed as suggested and maybe turn the color up a bit. But all in all, a hard choice. Bet you didn’t know you had so many cat fans!
The second one is sweet but I think the first one shows her personality.
Oh they are both great which makes it a tough choice. I thought #2 first because it has such great coloring but I tend to agree with many other people that #1 does have so much expression.

I just love the first one. She has so much expression and so much character from her hair, to the look on her face. Her pose has attitude. So darling.
The top photo is unique and oozes character. Anyone could have their child pose the same as the second photo.
I like the second one on the grass. It’s bright and sweet.
I like the close up better. Show her personality more.
I asked my husband to chose without telling him my choice and he picked #1 too!
Although you see her entire cute bod in the second, I’m pulling for the first as the second looks more posed. I think she is showing her personality more in the first.
I like the second picture because it shows personality…the first one is great too because it’s a close-up. I’d go for the second one, and maybe pull it closer?

At first I thought of the 2nd one but when I looked at them the 2nd time, I pick the 1st one. I somehow feel that the 2nd one is a ‘typical’ contest photo. While the 1st one is something very… original. You may want to reposition your watermark though. Hehe.
I also vote for the second one. I like them both but the second one jumped out at me right away. Good luck.
I really like the 2nd one. She’s so adorable.
The bottom one looks nice, it’s not commercialized.
