Click to Give

I know several already are aware of the click to give sites; however, some aren’t aware. Even if you know already - please, take a second or two and click every.single.day for these causes.

The Animal Rescue Site

If you are like me and you are an animal lover - there is a pet rescue click to give. The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes a few seconds to go to their site and click. It’s in a purple box in the middle of the page. This doesn’t cost you a thing. Corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits/clicks to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. I am not affiliated - I simply care.

While you are there, look at the TOP of the page and you’ll also see tabs for: Hunger, Breast Cancer, Child Health, Literacy, and the Rainforest. Click the tabs to give each of those a click per day, too. If you don’t mind- spread the word on your blog, as well because very little bit helps and each of these are legitimate.

P.S. If you click the sign up links on the left sidebar of those pages, it’ll help even more! They also offer a free daily email reminder (left siderbar “remember to click”) and if you opt for that, it’ll give even more! =) Click, it counts.

Zoey, my hound, says thank you… for caring about other animals in need.

I’m am all about giving back to the animals, it’s the fact that they don’t have a voice, that makes me feel for them, just like children. I’ll be sure to remember to click every chance I get.

While I think it is a wonderful thing you are doing by helping animals in shelters, I think it is a little contradictory to have your readers click links to support shelters when you advertise on your own “About” page that your animals are full bred with papers. You don’t get papers when you adopt an animal and you usually don’t even know the birth date, so maybe you should follow your own advice and adopt from a shelter next time. If you really love animals, you’d adopt rather than buy from a breeder. They have full bred animals at the shelter, too. You’d know that if you ever visited one.

    TNChick Replied:
I have adopted from a shelter, thank you. I also did not buy my dog, she was adopted and yes, she’s full blooded (but no papers). I have also adopted a horse. I help local shelters, etc (donating and by adopting)… So, go bug someone else.

Oh! You can get papers from shelters. In CA I adopted a himi and he came with a copy of his papers. Just an FYI!

Sorry that you took that so offensively but what you wrote in your about me page gives people the impression that you buy your pets from breeders. I wasn’t “bugging” you, so don’t act like you are all important and that someone is taking the time to irritate you. Obviously whatever I said hit a nerve. Okay, so you say you adopted from a shelter. Good for you. But in all seriousness, grow up. You don’t need to get your panties in a bunch because a reader said something you didn’t like.

I am not trying to start a “flame war” here. I was just trying to point something out. Here in Florida you don’t get a copy of an animals papers at any shelter. Did you adopt from a private shelter? Because maybe then they may have a copy from the original owner. Public shelters don’t give copies of papers.

I don’t want you to get upset over my question. It’s nothing personal… I’m just curious because I love animals and I would like to know for my own information if private shelters give a copy of papers. It’s kinda wrong anyways because an animal from a shelter would be fixed and therefore wouldn’t need papers since you don’t need the credentials for animal shows or breeding. So it would really be just an ego boost for the owner to have the papers.

To answer your question - I adopted a cat from a public shelter in California. I had to pay the fee for adopting the cat (typical adoption fee that covered vax, microchip, neuter) and they did include a copy of the CFA paper. No, the paper did not mean anything to me but the cat still had them. I’m sure every where is different.

In reply to your previous comment: I am not nor did not act all important to anyone, I didn’t have my “panties in a bunch” and I do not need to grow up. I wasn’t the one passing judgment on someone I didn’t know without facts. I was just irritated that someone who doesn’t even know me would come to my site and pass judgment on me about not caring for animals. However, it isn’t worth my time to argue it and since I know the truth and God knows the truth, that’s all that really matters. If you knew me, you’d know that was true, too.

It is so easy to click and support a site that cares for animals, just like you do, TNChick :)
Thanks for sharing the link with us.

When you write about all your full blooded animals and their papers in your about me page and then talk about helping shelters, you open yourself up to someone who does adopt strictly from shelters to be upset if they see someone who looks like they are two-faced. When you wrote the stuff about your animals and all their papers, it would appear to anyone reading it that they were bought from a breeder. So it wasn’t like I didn’t have facts: I read and responded exactly to what you yourself wrote on your own site. In all honesty, you are getting way more worked up than you need to.

I certainly don’t care about your truth and god’s truth, because 1)I don’t believe in “God” 2) I don’t believe that you don’t care about having papers for your animals or you never would have gone out of your way to post that fact on your site and 3) Since I do believe in the freedom of speech, I can write whatever I want to write whether it’s on your site or not because this is a free country and last I checked, if you post a blog that is readable to the public than I have the right to post a comment. If you want to delete it the comment, go right ahead. But you keep responding and every time you do, you sound even more snobby and angry. Chill out.

I do believe you care about animals. I never questioned that.

Oh, and BTW… Anytime someone says “I know the truth and ‘God’ knows the truth” is usually full of crap.

I’m honestly starting to appreciate the fact I don’t live in Tennessee since I would have to deal with uptight people like you. And I thought Florida was bad! HA! :)

I Hate people who leave comments on others sites without knowing all the facts!!!!!!! In reference to the lady who keeps making comments without knowing the facts. If you knew Tnchick you would know she knows her stuff especially when it comes to animals she has always loved animals and every state I’m sure is different. She is who she says she is she doesnt act like someone shes not and does what she says she does. I hope you stay in Florida myself because Tennessee doesnt need people like you here. We are lucky to have Tnchick. It sounds like you have a very dull life and you seriously need to read the bible and just picked someone out to pick on but I know for a fact Tnchick is better than your BS. We all here on this site fully support her and her Animals so go bother someone else. Heck you got my panties in a bunch not hers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have anything else to say just email me…..tnsweetie260@yahoo.com

You know I am not childish and evidentally you don’t have anything better to do than to insult people who love animals. I wont use Jamie’s site to answer anymore of your childish acts. Don’t insult cancer either. You really need to get a life!!!! and leave the decent humans alone. I have better things to do than to talk to a thing or person like you. If you knew Jamie or me personally you wouldn’t make the comments you have already…. you know dont contact me by Jamie’s site or email. You are not worthy of it. May God bless you in this life.
