PhotoHunt News

Starting January 1, 2008, I will no longer be adding links to new players, each week. New players can simply comment on the weekly post stating they are new. I hope when you comment here - if you see someone saying they are new, you’ll visit them. =)

Second, a general reminder. If you are Photo Hunting with us - please remember to follow the PhotoHunt “rules”. There are not many and I’d greatly appreciate it (as would the other participants).

The “rules” are very simple:

  • Post photos from your personal collection
  • Do not share photos obtained from the web (please, no clip-art/stock photos)
  • Do not share photos from others (unless it’s your family)

Most importantly, do not claim someone else’s photo as your own - let’s all have respect for other photographers!

As always, any suggestion you may ever have for the PhotoHunt - feel free to share them. This is a community thing and I want everyone who is involved to be and feel involved.

    I’m still playing Photohunt, but have been so busy that I haven’t been able to go VISIT any other photohunt. So I haven’t been commenting on your posts b/c I feel bad having people visit and me not reciprocating. :( But even still, it’s fun playing along!

    TNChick, I thoroughly enjoy PH and so does my children. Thay always ask what the next theme is even if I just posted the current theme. My daughter even wants to join because she is already blogging.

    I love the new blog friends that I have met and constantly visit every week.

    As the others have expressed, I, too, so appreciate the PH. I love photography & had never added any of my photos to my blog until I found the PH! It was the kick in the pants I needed! :-)

    Thanks for the PhotoHunt. I have enjoyed participating since September and try not to miss posting, even when I can’t always get around to see very many of the others. I even took photos along on my trip so that I wouldn’t miss posting my PhotoHunt.

    Now I am just waiting for your post that this week’s hunt is in session. No rush–really–honest–just watching–I can wait patiently. Sheepish grin here.

    hi. i love photos and taking them as well. i’m interested to join. just one question though. is there any rule regarding late postings? ’cause at times we go out weekends and therefore, can’t blog.

    reply from tnchick: Post whenever you like. There is no rule. Most people play on Saturday. Many post Friday and some post on Sunday… some even post later. The only down fall to posting late is you may not get a lot of comments. However, if you are PhotoHunting because you enjoy it vs. for the comments, that’s no big deal =)
