Contest Alert x2!
S.J. (a PhotoHunter) over at Almost Vegetarian is hosting “Kitchen Week” this week. There is a contest starting, Friday 9/28. You’ll win an awesome kitchen gadget (winner gets the most expensive kitchen gadget reviewed during gadget week).
How to win? Write a short kitchen gadget story in the September 28 comment section of her blog. You can write about a kitchen gadget someone gave you, a gadget you bought and like (or dislike), or a gadget that you have no idea what it does other than collect dust in your drawer. As long as it’s something about kitchen gadgets – it qualifies!
Another way to win – if you post about the contest on your blog and the prize winner says they heard about the contest from your blog, then you, too, win a prize. That would be her way of saying thanks for your support.
Help make this fun contest a success – it’s the first ever contest she’s hosted and I am helpin’ her get the word out. If you play – be sure to tell her you saw the post at tnchickies, tho, k? At the time I wrote this – she hasn’t posted the contest yet – but it’ll be up Friday (tomorrow).

Thanks so much for blogging about my first-ever contest. It went well. Very, very well. We got some really great stories including one that had me howling with laughter. And I’m sure the success was due to you and other bloggers as generous as you who mentioned the contest. It was wonderful and I appreciate it.
And it was all so much fun that I think I might run another contest. Anyone can come to my site and tell me what they want to win, so once the votes are in, I’ll set it up.
I’ll let you know when I do.
