Eww, dirty water…
This is what is currently happening out in my front yard… well, in the ditch. It’s about time – there has been a fairly large water leak there for over a week and the water has been standing in my ditch… I’m glad someone finally showed up to fix it.
So, what’s going on where you are?
In other news… well, there is no other news! Actually, there is some news – I will be workin’ from home – with a real job. I haven’t started yet but rec’d all the new hire info. I thought it would help us save and move forward with building our house. I still have to get the land surveyed. Did you know I haven’t worked “a real job” (with a paycheck) since 2002 when I quit my job in San Diego (I quit when I was pregnant with my daughter). I’ve worked dabbling in web design, with my Dad, etc… but not counting that.
Oh. Anyone know how long the kindergarten crankies last? Whew! My daughter started K this year – she’s totally lovin’ it; however, she is SO cranky in the evenings. Eek. I talked to another gal I know – her daughter started K, too – and she said her daughter has the case of K crankies, too… so I guess it’s normal but hope it ends soon. I don’t remember how long it lasted with my son.
Hmm – I guess that’s it for now. I gotta go fix somethin’ to eat and catch a nap! Holla =)~

Good luck with your new job! What are you going to be doing?
Dinner time is the bewitching hour for all small children. It’s tough being good all day.

I don’t remember how long the crankies lasted. I hope they end soon! It seems like it might have been after Christmas before I noticed a real change..hmmm

All reports I hear on the “kindergarten crankies”…including at my house are…they are still in full swing….bedtime keeps getting earlier and earlier to combat them!

We would love some of that water in Georgia!
Over half the state is on water restriction. Can’t use any water outside for several more months.
I wish they’d started it a couple of months ago.
From what I hear, my grandson does OK in kindergarten as long as he goes to bed early enough.

Oh! I feel your pain! I thought it was just my son (who started Kindergarten this year.) From the moment I pick him up until dinnertime, it is whine, cry, complain, demand. And yes, bedtime is getting earlier and earlier!
On the other hand, I’m glad to hear it’s not just here in my house.
