Please, welcome the new folks this week:

Creative: I find this creative. It is painted on the side of Joe’s Crab Shak, downtown. It’s off 2nd Ave in Nashville. I love this because it’s creative and well done… but also because my husband is Joe ; therefore, this amuses me. =) *smirk*

Let me address two emails about the themes…

Email #1 Are any guides on the theme creative? any ideas or specifics? No guidelines on any theme. It means what you think it means. That is the fun of photo hunting for themes. You don’t have to follow dictionary definitions on any theme. Ideas? Sure! Think: imaginative, productive, artistic, clever, cool, gifted. You may share photos of art work, photos of something you created - anything that says creative to YOU when you see it. =)

Email #2 … ‘funky’ meant something hip, something positive but not of the norm. I decided to look in my online Thesarus and it does not say that at all in any of the definitions or synonyms. I was totally shocked. Tell us just what funky means on your posting site. Same as above. No guidelines on any theme other than make sure it’s YOUR photo. It means what you think it means - fellow PhotoHunters look forward to see what the word funky means to you. Something hip, not of the norm, etc… it’s all good.

    Even I have a creative photo this week. I missed the photo hunt a couple of times during this vacation - for the first time since you started it!!!

    I love these painted buildings… In a little town (Flora, Illinois) they have a colorful mural of the town and a large train that looks like it is coming right out of the brick… nice!

    I love murals! Lucky for me the weather in LA is very conducive to murals and they are everywhere. I think murals are a very good reflection of their location’s culture. Great selection for the theme!

    I love those painted wall murals on the outside of the buildings. It is amazing artist who can paint something that large. I only work on the little stuff. lol. Great photo! Next time I am in the Smyrna area, I will have to make a special trip to Nashville.

    I do like the mural, especially that it has a second meaning for you personally. I see Imma (Alice) used murals for the Art theme - I use one for Fake!

    I always thought that the art on mural or graffiti is done by creative people. The are the one we called artist!

    Our town is really into those paintings on walls too! We have them everywhere and the ability of someone to paint on a wall keeps me in awe!

    Cities can be so bleak and monochromatic, so I enjoy murals like that because they add character and interest. Your Joe’s mural is really neat!
