This is just a comment spot for those already in Saturday and the early birds!

Need some ideas? Here are a few meaning for this weeks theme, shadow(s).
-a dark figure or image cast on the ground or some surface by a body intercepting light.
-shadows, darkness, esp. that coming after sunset.
-shelter; protection: sanctuary in the shadow of the church.
-a slight suggestion; trace: beyond the shadow of a doubt.
-a specter or ghost
-a hint or faint, indistinct image or idea; intimation: shadows of things to come.
-an inseparable companion: The dog was his shadow.
-without official authority: a shadow government.

Fact: shade and shadow are not only related in meaning; historically they are the same word

    Mine is also up — i have several entries. I got ahead of myself and posted on Wednesday, thinking or wishing it was Friday, i guess. i can hardly wait to start exploring each of yours!

    Looking forward a few weeks we will have FUNKY and i looked that up in dictionary and i have no idea how to express that without more explanation so I may not participate in that one next month. . .

    Cute! I had a hard time with this one. My creative juices were smothered by a summer cold and my only archived photos with shadows were taken with an old camera and not the quality I like to post…but I put them up anyway!

    I’m hosting a wedding shower this morning, so it will be later today before I can visit, but I promise to get there!

    Ah, TNChick, I have another interpretation - overshadowed. *grin* At least, I HOPE that’s an interpretation! We were most definitely overshadowed our last camping trip. It was embarassing!
