I took these photos tonight… on my way home from town - we stopped at the local fair to let our kids enjoy a few rides. While the first isn’t full of color - it was one of my faves and I love the sky color at sunset. The superman ride was my best choice for color… so I included both for your viewing pleasure.

    Indeed, Saturday is already an hour old here in Finland - thank you for considering us “outside the Big World” :D

    Very nice photos. There may not be a variety of colors in a sunset, but there are few things more colorful, IMHO. The Superman ride does have more colors, but I’ll take the photos of our beautiful world any day! I do NOT like fair rides - they make me sick. Blech!

    they are both very colorful. :-) and not only that.. just the idea of a ‘carnival’ type event evokes the feeling of LOTS of colors to me… lights.. sounds… and people… all TYPES of colors. :-)

    to me even to first version is colorful because even one intensive color (the deep yellow sunset) is very rich in emotions. Great shot!:)

    BTW I really like your second photo too. It’s very colorful and captures the feel of a fair. I can almost hear the noise of the rides and people, and smell the food that’s always at these fairs.

    The first one should be a framed poster. It looks really good. The second one makes feel young inside. Great pictures!

    I’ve been away for a bit, I’m working on a book with all of my best pictures in it. I hope that it becomes a success.

    Wow, the first one almost looks surreal - like something you would see in a dream. I agree, this one is the more interesting of the two simply because it has more depth.

    But the Superman ride - DEFNITELY colorful! It almost makes your eyes hurt to look at it! lol Tell me your kids did not ride that; I’d be so sick! *grin*
