First, childhood toys. I decided to share one photo of some of our “old” toys. These are GI Joe items and most of them are about 20 years old. Any collectors out there – interested? LOL

Vintage GI Joe

Next, me… I was a child of the late 70’s and 80’s… so this is me during that time. I’m thinkin’ this is about 1982 but not 100% sure at the moment.

I see that these posts are from a while back, but I read the question “any collectors out there – interested?” and I want to say yes I am interested. Please email me if you see this post – KMcHugh@spfldcol.edu

This was fun! Now I’m looking everywhere for great pix to reflect my vision of childhood. Here’s my two girls on their way to school this morning . . . . “sisters.” Gorgeous sunny morning, and my precious girls! Nina

Better late than never! Hope to get to see everyone elses this week.

  7. What cool GI Joe stuff. I still have the box to Cobra’s Zartan, which caused a stink back in the late 80s because they used the word Schizophrenia in his profile!

My post is up but is horribly late due to some Operator Error (sorry!)

I used to watch GI Joe cartoons on tv when I was younger. Nice that you still have those toys around.

    That’s a cute picture of you, :)

Mine is up too, and I featured my children in the photos.

I found a picture of me at age 2. Boy, it would be great to have that kind of utterly happy smile on your face all the time!

  10. Csara says:

I am late to the party, but those were great pics and mine is about to be up!

I was a huge fan of G.I.Joe the cartoon and comic book and still collect the comics. I can probably name off everyone in the picture there too. I was however more of a transformer’s fan and it would have taken days to set up all the ones I have. (all the ones from 20 years ago and everything int he past 10 years.) I’m headed to the TF convention this July and will be seeing the TF movie through a charity event on June 28th.

But I would totally never pass up G.I.Joe toys. Still have Wetsuit and Zarana in their original unopened packaging.

Glad I joined the Photo Hunt. Thanks for everyone for stopping this week and last.
