Well - no answers yet…

about what is going on with me. I saw my doctor again today - for a follow-up. The pain meds was not giving me any relief during my times of pain.

Saturday it was pelvic area pain with a couple of lower back and lower ab area shooting pains…. I immediately went to the doc and he immediately thought it was a kidney stone. Advised drink, drink, drink. I drank 3 liters of water Saturday afternoon. Eek.

Sunday, didn’t have any major pain other than some sharp shooting pains, still in the pelvic region. I drank 2.5 more liters of water.

Monday, I called to make the follow-up appointment for today… No more pelvic pains. I was having serious back issues, really lower back, like on top of the tail bone. Twice, I couldn’t get out of my chair and had to go to my knees, crawl, then stand. Yeah, I felt stupid but had no choice. I drank 3 more liters of water.

Wow, that means as of this moment I’ve drank 9 liters of water since 1pm Saturday. Woah. I’ve never in my life drank so much water. I wanted to “flush” that stone out - or whatever… so made every effort to drink as much water as I could.

Today when I was at the doc - he said the area of pain seems much to low for stones… and if my pelvic pain is gone, I likely passed the stone. I have no idea.

Tomorrow AM I go in for xrays of my pelvic area and my lower spine/back. The xray folks had already left for the day, today. Tomorrow, If the xrays don’t give me any information - I must undergo an internal ultrasound, he said, because it may be an ovarian cyst. Ugh. I gave another urine sample today and he said everything was good - but I did have a slightly high white blood cell count and that usually means infection. He said he didn’t think I had an infection tho… but would send it off anyway to be sure - will take a couple of days to hear back.

So… I still don’t know what is going on, what was going on, or what will go on. I do know my lower back hurts so bad at times I can’t move. I didn’t have this over this weekend - so not sure if it’s related to the OMGosh-I-think-I’m-dying-Saturday-morning-rush-to-the-doctor deal.

Prayers much appreciated. Unknowing stinks and I am anti needle, anti doctor, anti everything pain related and dread going through whatever I may have to go through. Makes me nervous.

The good news I did hear - He told me to go have myself a DP - so that is what I did - went straight to Sonic when I left his office. =) Mm, it was delish. LOL I hadn’t had but like 3 sips of a Dr Pepper in 3 long days. Talk about headaches. Ugh.

Well, that’s it…

Sending up a prayer for you right now.

By any chance, do you think it could be endometriosis? I had it so bad, and it could press on nerves and everything. I had a hysterectomy last summer and it helped a lot on things that weren’t even “female” related.

    Best wishes.

That sounds like what my mom had a couple years ago. It would come and go, and the doctors couldn’t figure out what the problem was for about 6 months. It ended up to be her gall bladder (and then she needed emergency surgery to remove it).

    I hope you feel better!

find a good massage therapist, and utilize them, sometimes this sort of pain is not internal, but muscular, and can be released in massage of pressure points.
    i will pray for you
