About Me
Kickin’ since ‘76. A Virgo married to Capricorn [since '93]. We were high school sweethearts. Aww… We have two children [a boy born in '97 and a girl born in '02]. I’m an insomniac, lover, talker, digitally artistic, scrapbookin’, music lovin’, sport lovin’, outdoorsie chick, child of God, Dr. Pepper drinkin’, junk food eatin’ kinda gal.
I admire honesty. I have one small tat below the naval. I have my left eyebrow pierced. I don’t like chocolate, I don’t like ketchup, I don’t like coffee and I don’t eat PB&J sandwiches. I’m from Nashville and am a night owl. I am honest and sometimes a bit to forward. I go with the flow and enjoy time with family & friends. I love to play softball. My name is Jamie. I love animals and enjoy messin’ around with PhotoImpact. I’m currently in process of my degree.
I have a spoiled Himalayan – Punkin, she is a CFA Registered Seal Point. She is strictly indoor. Update: Punky, passed away on 1/4/07 – life is different without her. We now have a Blue Cream Point, Nixie.
I also have a Hound, Zoey. She is full-blooded beagle born in April 2004, and an outdoor, spoiled hound. We rescued her and gave her a loving home!!
Read my *100 Things* for more things about me (Sorry the link changed when I changed domain names and wasn’t working – but it’s fixed now). Also, my husband made an ABC list about me, read it here.
Some of my favorite quotes include: “My mind not only wanders, sometimes it leaves completely!” and “All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost.”
If I were to wear camouflage to hide in a gingerbread house I’d choose to be covered in icing. I’d stick cookies to my body then ask my husband to eat it all off.

I used to live next door to Pete on Robinson ave in throgs neck in the Bronx is that what TN stands for throgs neck chick I knew pete when he first became a firefighter. We would hang out sometimes as we were around the same age.We used to get in trouble toghter. I met some of his other friends at the firehouse he worked at he always wanted to stop by the house to say hi. When I heard what happened to him I was devastated I seen a picture of Pete when he was a boy he posed for a picture in front of the twin towers when they were being built it was so weird that he was there when they went up and he was there when they came down.I hope the world never forgets about heroes like pete.Another friend of mine died in Iraq he was one of the 3 firefighters who raised the flag that made that famous picture his name is Chris engeldrum he was a Sargent and was killed by a rode side bomb his wife was pregnant when he was killed before he became a fireman he was a police officer he also lived in throgs neck. You are a person of greate care, and then also in the need for the same. You have unique ideas how to make peace and joy.
I’ve been into your fantastic creation of Photo Hunt since jan this year. And with my background from a tiny piece of the globe called Norway, it’s really been a journey out of this “normal workday” world.
Now, I ask for for one more thing: tell Blogger my frustrations of not beeing able to post a comment to the entries ’cause the so called Visible entries does nor show up.
I’m\, using Firefox and IE.
=^.^=
PS Frustrated: Yes;D

hey there Chick! Not far from ya, just across the woods here. Love your site, just stumbled upon it tonight. If I weren’t 5 years older than you, I’d say we were twins! : ) Keep up the great work, drop me a line, we may run into each other in Nashville sometime!
